Husband and father of five, I've learned life is about serving and purpose, working within a moral code. We aren't born knowing right from wrong but we learn in our early years and our purpose develops and evolves throughout life. Providing we never allow ourselves to stop learning; we also develop new and ever changing ways to serve those purposes.
My journey started as a young farm hand on my parents family farm, then mechanic student, then farm machinery mechanic. I earned my Red Seal, Journeyman credentials and went on to start my first mechanic business servicing mostly oilfield applications and compressor works in central Alberta/Western Canada.
Grateful for the opportunities life had afforded me, I invested in some commercial and farm property to house the business and earn rental income as security. A few short years later my mechanic business sold and I was unable to stay employed with the new owners so that rental revenue was my only remaining income for a short time. During this transitional phase I returned to some oilfield operations and consulting roles before partnering up with a friend and together we founded Clear Glycol, a glycol recycling business. Through our mutual connections we serviced oilfield and like sites with our recycled glycol products and recycling services. Through the course of the next 8 years we grew that small business to become the largest glycol recycling facility in Canada. Much was learned in this journey; not the least of which was the importance of hearing the needs of customers and meeting those needs. My role was CEO and President which included being prime consultant with some of the largest companies in North America, challenged with responsible recycling mandates and Green Initiative Goals and Stewardship.
The business sold in 2020 and I remained on in my role through the following year. I wish that valued team all the best in their continued efforts while I focus on the broader critical purpose of Water recycling, alternate energies and energy conservation, restoration of wet lands and air quality controls.
Late 2021 I founded PH7 Solutions. The business allows me to continue my work in assisting customers with their all important recycling and Green initiative goals; being those of responsible water recycling and like solutions for water, land and air's return to basic.
The business motto is Back to Basic
The mandate is to consult with customers, communities and businesses alike to use the most appropriate proven technology to lessen environmental impact, lessen waste water disposal and increase water recycling in a manner that allows for clean water, air and land for all.
The results will save costs as well as our most precious resources and provide clean drinking water, restored wet lands/reclaimed tailing ponds, and increase air quality for decades to come.
This is by far the most exciting work venture I've embarked on to date; one where the success of each individual participating will measurably create success of all - the prospect of multiplying that Nation Wide is once again the motivator that will grow the business to the largest of its kind.
